(LOS ANGELES, CA) While some prefer to call this time of year “The Holiday Season”, others tend to call it “Auto Show Season”. And just as the festive holiday period surrounding Christmas extends from late fall to early winter, so too does the time frame where major North American Auto Shows are scheduled.
Aside from being consumer focused shows where potential buyers and auto enthusiasts alike can see thousands of vehicles in one spot, certain major Auto Shows also provide the right venue for Automakers to launch all new entries to the market.
The L.A. Auto Show, along with the North American International Auto Show, held in Detroit each January are perhaps the two biggest North American shows for product launches and premiers. Launches typically take place during Media Days and this year in Los Angeles there were about 50 vehicles making either their Global or North American debut.
