Bobs & LoLo Teaching Kids to be Green

As a father of four, I’ve seen my fair share of kids tv programming.  There was a period of time where aside from my daily news junkie fix, I don’t know if I saw much beyond what Treehouse, Kids CBC, TVO Kids, etc had to offer.

One of the staples of Treehouse are musical vignettes from a Vancouver based duo known as Bobs and LoLo.  I follow them on Twitter and have always found their songs to be catchy and appealing to me as an adult just as they are to my kids (but that’s also the point, right?!)

One of their songs that I can’t seem to get out of my head is a catchy and environmentally friendly song called “Recycle with Me”.  It’s a great song with an important message for our children about the importance of recycling as a part of environmental stewardship.  Given that it’s stuck in my head (and given that Bob’s and LoLo know it is), I thought I’d share their video with everyone else.

Now if you find yourself endlessly singing “R E C Y C L E…recycle, recycle with me”  you can blame me…but I won’t care!  🙂
